As a reminder, if you are running late or not able to make it to the Bluejay Solar site for ANY reason (car/family/sick etc.) you must communicate with your foreman/supervisor as well as the onsite for 360, Carol, by calling her at 979-500-3380. We do have a time off request form that must be signed prior to you taking time off. Please contact Carol in order to get you thru this process. Failure to communicate days off or being tardy to site can result in discipline or even removal from the site.
Roll Call: It is important that you listen for your name during roll call in the morning. When you hear your name please speak up so you can be accounted for at that time.
Gate Badging: It is important that you get to the site to be able to badge in prior to 7:00am. If you badge in after 7:00 then you will be considered late for the day. Please plan to get thru badging 10 to 15 minutes before 7:00am.
Sign in/out policy: Due to new Covid protocols onsite, workers will not be signing themselves in and out. Your foreman has sign in sheets and will do a verbal/audible roll call for sign in. So for example, they will roll call Jon Smith-Jon Smith says here- and foreman will sign Jon Smith in. You can still feel free to ask your foreman to see or verify information, you just won’t be able to touch or modify the sheets yourself.
Update on Breaks: Currently there is no Texas law on structured breaks or duration of breaks. We have had discussions with the site regarding lunch breaks and some foreman are choosing to go with 15 minute PAID lunch break and some foreman are choosing to go with a 30 minute UNPAID lunch. It is the foreman’s choice as some are wanting to get the shift done sooner before the hottest part of the day hit.

Como un recordo, si llega tarde o no puede llegar al sitio de Bluejay Solar por CUALQUIER motivo (automóvil / familia / enfermedad, etc.) debe comunicarse con su encargado / supervisor, también con le de 360 sitio, CAROL, llamándola al 979-500-3380.
Tenemos un formulario de solicitud de tiempo libre que debe firmar antes de que usted se tome el tiempo libre. Comuníquese con Carol para que pueda seguir este proceso. No comunicar los días libres o llegar tarde al sitio puede resultar en medidas disciplinarias o incluso en la expulsión del sitio.
Pase de lista: Es importante que escuche su nombre durante el pase de lista por la mañana. Cuando escuche su nombre, dígalo para que podamos identificarlo en ese momento.

Actualización sobre descansos: Actualmente no existe una ley de Texas sobre descansos estructurados o duración de los descansos. Hemos tenido discusiones con el sitio con respecto a las pausas para el almuerzo y algunos capataces están eligiendo ir con una pausa para el almuerzo de 15 minutos PAGADA y algunos capataces están optando por ir con un almuerzo de 30 minutos NO PAGADO. Es la elección del encargado, ya que algunos quieren terminar el turno antes de que llegue la parte más calurosa del día.
